When they didn t have the ball they got 5 midfeilders behind, pressing and made it difficult for Arsenal to pass through the middle, which it typically how they like to attack. when they had the ball they countered very quickly and transformed to a 4-3-3, which all three goals highlighted this with Rooney, Nani, and Park scoring, while they had 3 central midfeilders with Carrick playing in front of the back 4. A great counter-attacking formation that makes it difficult for opponents to pass through the middle, and forces them wide more often than not. If teams are not set-up to play this way it can counter their strategy very well, as in this particular game Arsenal did not adjust and go to the flanks, as they want to play through the middle and don t cross enough balls into the box. A great strategy as it s flexible to move to 4-1-4-1 when you don t have the ball, asking the two wide players to track their full backs, and when attacking you can quickly adapt to a 4-3-3 with the two wide players supporting the lone striker. This does put more stress on the wide players, as they will need to attack and defend, getting up and down the pitch on a regular basis, which also makes it a difficult tactic to employ without the right players.Đang xem: Soccer formations 4 5 118-Jan-11 22:48 guest 220.127.116.11Spain national team successfully performed this line-up in EURO08 final match against Germany, and obviously they didn t play a defensive game.Senna, Xavi and Fabregas played as CM. What a trio!!! When people think about three center midfielders they think about defensive and boring game... But imaginative and offensive midfielders can also play there... if you risk, of course.I like this line-up when you play as Spain does.Xem thêm: Worst Soccer Team Ever - Top 30 Worst National Football Teams15-Jan-12 23:03 Salem Karadsheh Amman Governorate Personally i think this formation is very useful against teams who play possession football. As here you have the ability to pressure on the opponent in the midfield and take control in the midfield of the match. Players can intercept the ball quickly as then counter-attacks can be made aggressively, and the ball holder can have many choices in passing as the counter-attacks can get up to 4 or more players!11-Jul-13 19:58 nessi Lombardia what would you think of a 4-5-1 with 3 centre-back, 1 sweeper, 2 wing back, 1 play maker and 2 strikers,it would become a 6-2-2.29-Dec-13 23:08 guest 18.104.22.168This is a defensive phase of the cautious 433 and 4231, it can be a starting formation but rarely it is. When defending and then counter attacking, the formation has a flexibility to become 4321 with the side midfielders pushing up, a 433 with the flank midfielders pushed completely up, or, with a different individual organization, a 4231. It s great for counter attacking if the team has fast wings.Xem thêm: Linganore High School Basketball Coach, Linganore High18-Mar-15 00:36 guest 22.214.171.124Spalletti s (late) Roma, often described as 4-6-0 , false 9 Totti.Best described: Playing counter attacks without being on a counter, runs from deep areas, hard to defend and to follow, players like Taddei and especially Perrotta did this perfectly, understanding the vision and magic by master Totti.Nice to look at, too.Pizarro played some kind of regista/playmaking mixture, it was very interesting to watch.
