George Clooney and Brie Larson did not get flirty while shooting a Nespresso ad in Madrid, despite a ridiculous tabloid report. Nothing unprofessional happened between the two stars on set. Gossip Cop can debunk the claim otherwise.
Last month, Clooney and Larson were spotted riding white donkeys while filming a commercial for Nespresso in Spain. Woman’s Day is jumping at the opportunity to create some sort of love connection, despite the actor being happily married. A headline in the latest issue of the magazine reads, “Watch Out Amal: Brie’s After George!”
The accompanying article says Clooney’s wife has some “fierce competition” because the Captain Marvel star has “fallen for his charms.” An alleged insider tells the magazine, “She definitely fell victim to the George effect. He’s very charming to everyone around him, especially his female co-stars, and Brie was putty in his hands after about two minutes of conversation.”
The supposed tipster continues, “It’s fair to say she developed a bit of a crush on George, who was lapping up the attention she was lavishing on him.” The seemingly phony source adds, “Amal knows George is a flirt and hopefully Brie realizes it’s just a bit of friendly fun, certainly nothing more.”
The tabloid’s attempt at stirring up drama is baseless. Gossip Cop checked in with sources close to the situation, who assure us that Clooney didn’t get flirty with Larson on the set of their commercial, nor is she pursuing a married man. The idea that Amal has reason to be worried is absurd. It seems Woman’s Day simply saw photos of Clooney and Larson shooting an ad together and came up with this bogus narrative.
In fact, this isn’t the first time we’ve had to call out a tabloid for alleging Larson was coming between a married couple. Back in April, Gossip Cop busted NW for falsely claiming Chris Hemsworth’s wife, Elsa Pataky, was jealous of his friendship with Larson, with whom he co-stars in Avengers: Endgame. There seems to be a theme developing here when it comes to Larson supposedly getting close to her married male co-stars.
This also wouldn’t be the first time that Woman’s Day has attempted to create fake problems between the Clooneys. Back in May, Gossip Cop debunked the tabloid article about George and Amal being on the “brink of a divorce.” In reality, the happy spouses just celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. As for the actor’s relationship with Larson, he’s simply selling some Nespresso with her, nothing more.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
