CHANGES FOR SESSION2
Teams will not changes sides at half time.
Limited Game Rosters: Due to MA Covid restrictions our capacity has been reduced to 25% which means only 12 people per team including players and coaches will be allowed in.
When these restrictions are lifted and we can get back to 50% or even 40%, teams may have up to 12 players and 2 coaches on a game roster, which means a max of 5 subs on the sideline per game. With the “Oneparent/One player” rule,each team may have a maximum of 24 people in attendance, which includes:Players, Parents and Coaches. Teams will be notified when this can take place.

Dear members,We are happy to announce that we will re-open on November 1st 2020 and begin registrations October 1st. There will be modifications to the game and how we approach indoor soccer going forward. We ask that you read the information below and follow the directions from the CDC. The safety and well being of our members is our number one priority and we will continue to monitor this situation closely to give you updated information and any instructions as soon as we get it.At this time we ask that you do not shake hands or high five before, during or after games. Let”s keep it simple and offer a “Good Game” gesture, and remember, please stay home if you are sick.READ BELOW..In consideration of the growing threat of COVID-19, we encourage all members and related personnel to take proper precautions. The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) is a valuable resource of the latest information.Avoid close contact with people who are sick.Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.Stay home when you are sick.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.Follow CDC”s recommendations for using a facemask.Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60 percent alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.

U8 will play 5 v 5 -U10 will now play 7 v 7 Full field – U12 Thru Adult will also play 7 v 7
NEW “Split Team” options. A split team is when a team has too many players to form a single team and not enough players to form two teams. Split teams may share players.
Five Star Soccer Academy is a “Non Boarded” facility re-turfed for the 2018 season. the main field is a huge 200″ x 96″
COED will also play 7 v 7 The rules will state that each team must have 2 “outfield” players of each gender on the field (this does not include the goalkeeper)
Unfortunately we will no longer allow outdoor cleats on the field, we will accept TURF shoes, INDOOR soccer shoes and SNEAKER type shoes.

Five Star Soccer Academy is conveniently located on Main Street, Route 12 in Oxford Off 395 – just minutes from Worcester and the borders of Rhode Island and North EastConnecticut.
Here we will introduce our facility and give some examples of the types of activities we”re involved in, you can also check the weather and get directions right from your door step.
We run leagues for all ages and abilities from U8to over 50.
Boys, girls, men, and women. Premier teams, rec teams, as well as town, tournament, and pick-up teams.
Here are some frequently asked questions.
Question: Can a player from Connecticut play at Five Star Soccer Academy.
Answer: Not while there is a travel ban in effect
Question: Can a player wear cleats?
Answer: NO. Indoor turfs, flats and sneakers are acceptable
Question: Can a player be rostered on 2 or more teams?
Answer: Not in the same age group unless they are on a “split team”
Question: Does Five Star provide pinnies if both teams are wearing the same color jersey?
Answer: No. it is the responsibility of the home team to change or provide pinnies
