Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s custody battle is not going to explode or get “ugly” because of a “wound” on their daughter Vivienne‘s head, despite a highly sensationalized and entirely inaccurate report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this absurdly manufactured claim. We’re told it’s simply nonsense.
After buying paparazzi pictures of Jolie walking in Los Angeles with her 9-year-old daughter, who was sporting a Band-Aid on her forehead, the National Enquirer went into full supermarket tabloid mode to allege Pitt and his estranged wife’s custody fight is going to get “ramped up” over new “child abuse charges.” The often discredited publication dramatically claims to have obtained “disturbing photos” of Vivienne with a “vicious head wound.” The outlet further maintains the youngster wore a “massive bandage” to cover the “gash on her forehead.”
According to a seemingly made-up “source,” “Brad was livid when he saw these photos.” “He’s convinced the kids aren’t being taken care of properly by Angie,” adds the almost assuredly fictitious tipster. And now, contends the magazine, he’s going to use this “alarming incident” to gain the upper hand in their custody battle.
Naturally, the publication mentions Pitt was briefly investigated for alleged child abuse by the FBI and Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, and that they found no wrongdoing on the actor’s part, so that the magazine can make its phony case about how now the tables have turned. The tabloid’s supposed “source” contrivedly says, “Angie was determined that she would destroy Brad by branding him as an abusive father… She battered Brad’s reputation as a dad, and now that he sees his kids may be at risk in her care, he’s ready to fight back with a vengeance.” “Brad’s going to use this situation with Vivienne as ammo,” claims the outlet’s questionable “source,” adding, “Angie better be ready for the counterattack!”
So, how did Vivienne receive her “vicious head wound” for which she needed a “massive bandage”? Not surprisingly, the Enquirer has no idea. Did the youngster require stitches for the “big gash” that convinced Pitt his children “aren’t being taken care of”? No, she did not. Did Pitt’s lawyers file a motion in court for temporary custody? Of course, they didn’t.
The “vicious head wound” Vivienne received was actually a fairly typical boo boo, much like the kind other children get on an almost daily basis in playgrounds across the globe. The alleged “massive bandage” she wore to cover the purported “gash” was a standard store-bought Band-Aid. And Pitt was not “livid” because he understands kids get cuts and scrapes all the time. Essentially, the tabloid’s tale is nothing more than fake news.
Sadly, Gossip Cop is not remotely surprised by the falsity of the tabloid’s latest article, since we have corrected the outlet on numerous occasions. Shortly after the couple split, we exposed the unreliable magazine for wrongly maintaining in a cover story that Pitt beat Jolie and the kids and alleging the actress had a “treasure trove” of “chilling photos” to prove it. That was completely untrue, and so is the current claim.
Still, Gossip Cop fact-checked with a Pitt confidante, who assures us the publication’s report is a total fabrication. Below is a portion on one of the supposed “disturbing photos” of Vivienne’s “big gash,” and “massive bandage” required to cover the “vicious head wound,” that the Enquirer asserts Pitt will use as “ammo” in his now “ramped up” custody battle. As anyone can clearly see, the tabloid’s claim is a (not so) bloody lie.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
